Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems. Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases particularly heart disease, type -2 diabetes, breathing difficulties during sleep, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis.. Obesity is most commonly caused by a combination of excessive dietary calories, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility, although a few cases are caused primarily by genes, endocrine disorders, medication or psychiatric metabolism. Evidence to support the view that some obese people eat little yet gain weight due to a slow metabolism is limited; on average obese people have a greater energy expenditure than their thin counterparts due to the energy required to maintain an increased body mass.

Protein found in Soybean is quite helpful to reduce the obesity; it has been disclosed by researcher.
1. Soybean oil is quite good to reduce the obesity.
2. Green tea with ginger is also good for losing the body fat.
3. Vegetable soup will help it reduce the fats from your body. Take it with your lunch and dinner.
4. Papaya will also reduce your body fats if it is taken every day during dinner.
5. In the morning take one glass of lukewarm water with few drops of lemon.
6. Ginger with honey will help to reduce your body fats.
7. Take esabgoal in the night after dinner, it will clear your bowl in the morning, it help in reducing the cholesterol which is main cause of obesity.
8. Raw tomato with garlic gives very good result in obesity. It lowers the cholesterol.
9. Soak black gram in water and keep it overnight. Next day early in the morning drink this water on an empty stomach. Soon you will be benefitted.

11. Cabbage is also believed to be a very good vegetable for those who are overweight. Take cabbage salads as your meals and stay fit and slim.

Include lots of fresh fruits and green vegetables in your diet. Having salads and soups will be very healthy too. Use oil for cooking rather than using butter. Avoid eating salty and ried food. Have skim or low fat milk instead of the regular milk.
• Avoid all types of milk products, as they are high in calories. Avoid rice and potatoes instead go for whole wheat.
• But in any case never skin your meal. This will not take you anywhere instead will create many other health problems.
